The Position

Drive growth in Boehringer India's institutional business by orchestrating strategic stakeholder engagement, developing institution specific brand strategies, and enabling cross-functional excellence to ensure formulary success translates into market leadership.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Map and categorize institutional stakeholders who influence brand adoption - from procurement committee members to department heads, medical superintendents to formulary decision-makers. Develop tailored engagement strategies for each stakeholder group, positioning the brand effectively at every decision point.
  • Create differentiated brand strategies for various institutional segments ( CGHS/Army/Railways/ESI/States/PSUs etc) based on patient profiles, treatment protocols, and consumption patterns. Ensure seamless translation of formulary inclusions into actual brand uptake through targeted interventions at each institution type.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, medical affairs, market access and other teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of institutional sales objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to address challenges and resolve issues if any
  • Work with sales teams to provide support and resources needed to achieve institutional sales objectives.
  • Ensure sales teams have access to relevant information, tools, and training.
  •  Responsible for executing growth opportunities for BI India by working closely in collaboration with Cross-functional departments.
  • Manage and analyse data related to institutional sales, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Preparing analyses and delivering insights, developing presentations and facilitating strategic meetings.
  • Coordinate institutional sales projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time by achieving the defined objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, medical affairs, market Access and other teams
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned with institutional sales objectives and strategies.

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree, Science graduate preferably with Post Graduation in Business Management.
  • 2-5 years in Project Management or Marketing with knowledge of Institutions preferably with prior sales experience
  • Managing strategic institutional projects and executing growth opportunities requires navigating complex interdependencies across various internal departments.
  • Coordinating, analyzing, and aligning diverse stakeholders to ensure project success and achieve critical sales objectives.

  • Strategic and results-driven professional with up-to-date knowledge of the Indian pharmaceutical and life sciences market, including a strong understanding of issues affecting multinational businesses in the region. Expertise in project management, business acumen, and strategy implementation, demonstrating exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills. High analytical mindset, quick learning ability, and highly collaborative nature enable you to build and maintain strong relationships.
