We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Savings & Superannuation (internally known as Product Area Lead, Savings and Superannuation) to lead the strategy, performance, and delivery of ING’s savings and superannuation portfolios. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability (shared with PAL Pricing & Performance), responsible for acquisition, retention, product governance, and compliance.

You’ll lead agile squads, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive customer-centric innovation that delivers real impact. If you’re passionate about financial wellbeing, product excellence, and leading high-performing teams—this is your chance to make a difference.


What you’ll do
 

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Own and execute product strategy and roadmap for savings and superannuation.
  • Drive acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
  • Oversee superannuation operations, compliance, and vendor management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product decisions.
  • Deliver seamless customer journeys and product enhancements.
  • Share accountability for portfolio profitability and financial performance.
  • Champion agile delivery and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • 15+ years’ experience in product management, governance, and delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of APRA/ASIC regulatory frameworks and trustee engagement.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management across Risk, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or Commerce.
  • Postgraduate qualifications desirable.
  • A strategic thinker with expert financial acumen and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in agile environments and product simplification.
  • Passion for customer outcomes and team development.
