What You'll Do:

 

  • Provide comprehensive procurement and category management services to SP Group Business Units for any combination of the following categories:
    • IT software licenses, maintenance and SAAS subscriptions
    • IT hardware, cloud and hosting services
    • Design, development, testing and commissioning of complete IT solutions
    • Cybersecurity solutions and consultancy projects
    • Physical security services, solutions and consultancy projects
    • Corporate operations including HR, Finance and communications related goods and services.
  • Execute entire end-to-end source to contract process for the above categories of spend in accordance with defined procurement processes and policies to ensure robust corporate governance and obtain best value for the organisation. 
  • Develop strong relationships and work closely with key stakeholders from the various internal Business Units responsible for the respective categories to ensure early/timely procurement of required goods and services
  • Proactively provide advice and support to Business Units on post award contract administration matters including resolution of any dispute or performance issues that may arise
  • Develop deep category, product and vendor knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the categories managed

 

What You'II Need:

 

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Procurement related equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the active category management or procurement function roles relating to the above categories of spend.  
  • Possess good understanding of key procurement principles and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multiple concurrent procurement activities 
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, balance multiple priorities and problem solving skills
  • Self-driven, positive and enthusiastic
  • Enjoy interacting with people and possess good verbal and written skills
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience in SAP and/or procurement systems will be advantageous
