The Vice President, Finance will be an accomplished and strategic finance executive who possesses a strong understanding of financial management and decision support in highly global and matrixed organizations. The successful candidate will have relevant experience within a global, publicly held manufacturing organization and a demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth and returns across a set of businesses. In addition, this leader will ideally possess a depth of experience in the semiconductor industry. This leader has designed, built and led finance teams in globally dispersed environments and possesses superior communication skills.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Driving financial forecasting, planning and analysis processes and analytics at corporate, working closely with the business and operations finance teams worldwide.
Provide guidance to and strategic financial oversight of the Semiconductor business unit.
Translating financial strategies into tactical plans, reporting requirements, procedures and processes.
Driving streamlined preparation of management reporting, focusing on key metrics, drivers, and insightful analysis, including executive and Board financial packages. Driving a focus on common and insightful analytics across both P&L and cash flow metrics.
Leading the forecasting and budgeting process, with a goal for streamlining and “less is more.” Focusing on analytical insights to ‘pressure test’ budgets. Evaluating new methodologies and practices, such as the use of data analytics, alternative forecasting and/or planning cycles to bring new thinking into the organization.
Leading efforts to develop and implement a robust financial system strategy and related process improvements across budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
Developing materials for financial presentations to the Board and proactively evolving the structure of Board-level documentation and communications.
Managing and developing a team of finance professionals within the Semiconductors business and establishing and reviewing goals for the division.
Working closely with the finance leadership team to coordinate company-wide strategic planning, budget, and quarterly target-setting processes, including ongoing forecasts and key performance monitoring.
Performing ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions.

He or she will foster trust and collaboration among team members and use teams to address and resolve relevant business issues. He or she will have had experience managing, developing, and leading globally decentralized teams with an appreciation and sensitivity for cultural differences. This executive will build a pipeline of finance talent to be rotated into the wider company. S/he will need to establish rapport and effective relationships at all levels and empower others to deliver results.
Strategic Agility: The leader will have a clear understanding of complex business principles and concepts, and will know how those are applied in the business, economic and social models related to the company’s business. He or she will be a savvy communicator who understands the business environment and the various market forces that drive it. This executive will demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding the company – its business, markets, structure, culture, and people. This individual will be a contributor to business strategy, who can help assess the impact of executive decisions on the company’s reputation, market value, and overall business success.

Further, he or she must have a high degree of integrity and the courage of his or her convictions. He or she will need to lead change by evolving the organization and its financial planning practices, procedures, and disciplines. Self-confidence, balanced with knowledge of one’s own strengths and limitations, will be crucial.
Additional requirements:
Bachelor or university degree
Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
MBA preferred
10+ years of experience
Leadership experience
Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred

Salary Range:
$240,000 - $295,000
