Position Duties
Coordinates day-to-day work, delegates tasks and sets deadlines for the assigned team. Provides guidance, direction and support for training and reviews work. Ensures effective collaboration with other teams. Listens to team members’ input and feedback and resolves any issues or conflicts.
Designs and architects the integration platforms to be utilized by the organization, considering security, scalability, reliability and performance requirements to meet business objectives including defining standards and policies for required integration patterns.
Develops, configures, deploys and manages integration solutions and implements best practices for the exchange of data and service interaction within the overall system ecosystem. Identifies and implements optimizations to improve integration efficiency, reduce latency and enhance system performance.
Implements monitoring tools and dashboards to monitor integration processes and detect issues proactively. Provides support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve integration-related issues promptly. Develops and executes test plans, including automated testing frameworks, to ensure integration solutions are reliable, accurate and compliant with specifications
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and define integration needs. Acts as subject matter expert on integration-related matters. Educates the organization on integration tools and industry best practices.
Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation, including design and technical specifications, while sharing expertise through training, mentoring and code reviews. Facilitates workshops and stays current on industry trends through research, seminars and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field and six years of experience in current data and application integration patterns, integration platforms and technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of:
- Application development and support
- System/solution architecture
- Integration technologies, including but not limited to ESBs, message brokers, API gateways, and middleware platforms, particularly Microsoft-based technologies
- Programming languages such as Java, Python or C#
- Integration standards protocols
- Computer usage including related software
- Working in integrated development environments
- Source control repository in a team environment
Ability to:
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Perform a full range of data and application integration tasks using a variety of integration technologies and platforms and component-based programming technologies and languages
- Define and document application integration patterns, policies and standards
- Communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance
- Perform all essential functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.
Individuals must be capable of operating vehicles safely and have an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Master's degree in computer science, information technology or a closely related field and nine years of progressively responsible information systems experience.
Knowledge of:
- Working in governmental settings or public agencies
- Formal business analysis
- Project management
- Developing applications and components targeted for web, windows desktops and/or handheld devices
- Cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
Licensing And Other Requirements
Valid state-issued driver's license.
