Location:           945 Thornhill St, Morden, MB

Status:                Part-Time, Permanent, Guaranteed 24+ hours per week.

Shifts:                 Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, 12pm-9pm (1-2 evening shifts/week).

  A rotation of Saturdays shifts is required.

 Closed on Sundays.

What you’ll do:

The Deli Clerk is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service; slicing meats, working with hot foods and food preparation; merchandising and displaying product; maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

The Deli Clerk will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

  • Are comfortable preparing and serving deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, subs, wraps, pizzas, etc. according to production standards and Food Safe requirements. 

  • Can maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

  • Can stand for extended periods of time.

  • Can perform a variety of activities, which may include lifting up to 30 lbs and repetitive motions. 

  • Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Available for a variety of shifts; including days, evenings and Saturdays.
