As a Precision employee, you will be joining one of the fastest moving and best-capitalized companies in the emerging field of BCI. Since our founding in 2021, Precision has secured over $155 million in funding, developed and validated our technology, and initiated human trials in collaboration with some of the nation’s top hospitals. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development to manage investor relations and help shape Precision Neuroscience’s corporate strategy. 

This role will lead our investor relations strategy and execution and will be a key contributor to our corporate strategy. This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the strategy for a distributive new category in medical technology.

This position is on-site at our Manhattan office. To be eligible for this role you must currently be based in the United States, and have working rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute investor relations strategy aligned with the company’s corporate goals and enhancing its reputation within the financial community.
  • Craft and maintain a compelling and consistent investment narrative; serve as a key contributor to the company’s external messaging.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the investment community, fostering strong relationships with current and potential investors.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in investor outreach, meetings, diligence responses and other investor activities.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and landscape assessments to identify key industry trends, risks, and opportunities in the BCI and neurotechnology sectors.
  • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including potential M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives to support executive and board-level decision-making.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a combination of corporate strategy, investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or management consulting.
  • Direct experience in the biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences industry is essential. Familiarity with neurotechnology is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and capital markets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex scientific and financial information into clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior leadership.
  • Strategic and critical thinker with a high degree of business acumen and the ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and mission-driven startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree (PhD, MD) is strongly preferred.
