Meyer Distributing is looking for an Internal Control Manager to join our Jasper, IN team!
The Internal Control Manager will oversee all discrepancies between the Cross Dock Receiving Scan and the Driver Portal in an effort to improve the performance of Meyer Cross Dock personnel and to bill product that is delivered without proper scanning or paperwork. To do this, they work closely with the Meyer Logistics Management Team on training, documentation, and evaluation. Beyond that, they are an integral member of the Inventory Control Team, so they are cross-trained on all aspects of ERP and WMS. Lastly, they are significant contributor to tasks generated via [email protected] and are expected to fill all available time working through those requests.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: No required education or certification; experience in supply chain management is preferred.
TRAINING: Minimum of 90 days on the job training required.
EXPERIENCE: Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
PAY: Based on experience.
Job Requirements:
The Inventory Control Manager's duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide Feeback with research via email to the cross dock lead when an issue is reported.
- Use My.Meyer reports to gather all information pertaining to the missing inventory in question
- Collarborate with other departments i.e., Sales, Accounting, Returns to resolve the issue.
- Be Knowledgeable with receiving and delivering processes at the cross dock level.
- Maintain a direct line of communication with Cross Dock lead via email or phone.
- Issue a response to all parties involved with final resoultion to the problem.
- Contribute to the workflow within the ICT. Mailbox.
- Fluid Understanding and application of the ERP and WMS.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management reporting, and the function of each report primarily used.
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to multi-task in certain situations.
