About the Role:
Inspīr is seeking a compassionate and dynamic Aura Director to lead our Aura neighborhood—an innovative program supporting residents with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), social withdrawal, or adjustment challenges who do not yet require memory care.
The Aura Director is both a clinical and lifestyle leader, serving as the primary contact for residents and families. This role ensures residents remain engaged, independent, and fulfilled while receiving the right level of support. The Aura Director oversees individualized care plans, supervises staff, and fosters meaningful connections, all while ensuring seamless transitions between levels of care when needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and families.
- Lead case management: assessments, service plans, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Create and oversee the Aura program calendar of engagement, wellness, and cognitive support activities.
- Supervise and mentor team members, modeling empathy and person-centered care.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, ensuring early interventions and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with Sales/Community Relations to introduce Aura to prospective residents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Nursing, Science, or Gerontology (required).
- RN license or MSW strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or related senior care.
- Experience supporting older adults with mild cognitive impairment or early dementia.
- Strong skills in family relations, case management, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
