With the ever-changing market, we are seeking an experienced LTL Sales & Operations Manager to take ownership of expanding our Less-Than-Truckload division. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team while driving significant revenue growth in a collaborative, result-driven environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in LTL Sales & Operations at a freight brokerage or LTL carrier
- Preferred 5+ years with demonstrated revenue growth and team leadership
- Proven track record in carrier relationship management with major LTL carriers
- Experience onboarding and growing customer accounts in the LTL space
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM)
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth through new account development and expansion of current customer partnerships
- Partner with other sales and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions for customers
- Oversee daily LTL operations, including carrier scheduling, freight optimization, and shipment consolidation, while serving as the primary customer contact for service issues and escalations
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with major LTL carriers; negotiate and manage contracts to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.
- Manage the LTL billing process, resolving discrepancies and disputes in partnership with the accounting department to ensure accurate invoices
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and drive profitability
- Lead, train and develop team members with clear advancement pathways while creating and monitoring key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, cost-optimization, and margin improvement
- Champion technology adoption and leverage reporting tools to maintain operational excellence and competitive advantage
