Position summary

The Senior Financial Cost Manager is responsible for assisting the Corp Managing Director of Financial Analysis / Continuous Improvement and Accounting Director, Financial Systems in generating cost models, analyzing sales, and constructing / analyzing RFP models, balancing realized gains on losses on hedging, preparing hedging reports, and generating customer cost calculations as needed.

Essential Functions

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with generating cost models
• Sales reporting
• Assist with constructing and analyzing RFP models
• Balancing realized gains/losses on hedging and provide hedging reporting to officers and to customers
• Assist with customer cost calculations as needed
• Complete special projects as needed by Department Managers and Officers; Perform other tasks as assigned by Corp Managing Director of Financial Analysis/Continuous Improvement and Accounting Director, Financial Systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, etc. 
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments successfully.
• Must be a team player and able to work with highly confidential information.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet applicable deadlines.

 Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. or B.B.A. in Accounting or related field preferred
• 5-10 years previous experience in accounting required.  Cost plus experience a plus.
