WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested; clarifying items; recommending alternatives and authorizing payment for purchases.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items.
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
• processing requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring that the necessary parts are delivered and obtained in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Responsible for supporting inventory tracking, tracking, and managing orders, and collaborating with other team members to ensure that the necessary parts are available when needed.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• High school education or GED required; Associates and/or bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year’s purchasing experience required.
• HVAC/R or related construction industry experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated purchasing experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer skills MS office, and other software applications.

Helios Service Partners compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $19/hr. in our lowest geographic market up to $23/hr. in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
