About the Role:
As an Applications Engineering Intern at Diodes Incorporated, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support our customers in designing and implementing cutting-edge power semiconductor solutions. This internship offers hands-on exposure to our portfolio of power products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to understand their design challenges and propose tailored solutions using Diodes’ products
- Develop and validate reference designs, evaluation boards, and application notes
- Support product characterization and performance testing in lab environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and quality to ensure customer success
- Document technical findings and contribute to internal knowledge bases
Qualifications:
- Degree programs considered for this internship: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in analog and power systems
- Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for innovation and customer engagement
