Position Summary

We're looking for a Digital and Social Strategist to join our growing digital and social marketing team, with a particular focus on our faith-based and mission-driven clients. This role is for a hands-on strategist who can seamlessly blend strategic vision with tactical execution. You will be a key player in our department, responsible for driving our clients' success across all digital and social media channels, both organically and through paid channels. This role operates in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment that requires spontaneous and strategic thinking to perform effectively.
This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role. You will report directly to the Head of Digital Strategy and work closely with junior staff, mentoring and guiding them as the team expands. Alongside the Head of Digital Strategy, you'll also be a primary point of contact for clients, presenting strategies, reports, and insights that showcase our value.

Requirements
Role Responsibilities
Organic Social Strategy & Content Creation:
- Lead the development of comprehensive organic social media strategies, including content playbooks, calendars, and content creation, inclusive of graphics, reels, and copywriting.
- Manage all aspects of client organic social media presence, from strategy and content production to social listening and analysis using tools like BrandWatch & SproutSocial.
- Leverage social media analytics tools and native platform insights to monitor and analyze the performance of creative content and engagement across all social platforms.
- Translate data insights into actionable strategies to optimize creative campaigns and enhance engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to keep the social and digital team at the forefront of the field.
Paid Digital and Social Strategy and Management:
- Develop and oversee paid media strategies, including research, campaign planning, audience building, execution, and optimization across all platforms such as Google Search, Programmatic Display, Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Deliver effective boosting strategies on social media to advance viral opportunities and grow overall performance, as well identify opportunities for long-term paid digital marketing campaigns to achieve optimal performance of clients’ goals.
- Collaborate with and provide strategic oversight for external vendors on larger paid media campaigns to ensure they align with client goals.
- Advise clients on budget allocation for paid social campaigns and ensure a cohesive approach between organic and paid initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement, impressions, website traffic, and conversions to identify optimization opportunities.
- Analyze paid performance data, distilling insights and building custom dashboards and reports for clients.
Client Leadership and Management:
- Serve as a client-facing strategist, presenting deliverables, strategies, and performance reports with clarity and expertise.
- Proactively identify problems and develop strategic solutions to help clients achieve their business goals.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and tactical execution.
- Stay current with emerging digital and social media trends, tools, and technologies.
- Communicate with Integrated Agency team members to manage workflow, quality of the output and timely delivery of projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Undergraduate degree or relevant experience in marketing, graphic design, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant digital marketing and social strategy experience
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making
- Comfortable working with a broad range of clients, including faith-oriented or Christian non-profits and other religious organizations.
- Proficient in industry-standard creative software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and the latest AI creative tools
- Adapts to change, meets deadlines, and is able to prioritize client deliverables
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
