Jockey is seeking a Demand Planning Manager who will own the delivery of an accurate, stable corporate demand forecasts and directly drive production planning, healthy inventory and high service levels. Wielding a blend of analytics, business acumen and leadership, this role will update and enhance Jockey’s demand planning practices and results through a time of technological transformation. The ideal candidate views demand planning as a practical application of analytics—leveraging data to guide decisions, improve processes, and drive measurable results.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
- Execute the development, refinement and submission of the enterprise demand forecast, managing alignment between sales plans, statistical forecasts, and inventory targets
- Support development and continuous improvement of an enterprise statistical demand plan
- Manage the seasonal forecast collection process and support Go To Market Initiatives
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to increase forecast accuracy, reduce instability, and improve efficiency
- Monitor forecast performance using KPIs (e.g., WAPE, bias, stability), identify root causes of variance, and recommend corrective actions
- Translate model outputs into actionable insights for cross functional partners
- Provide an independent, analytics-based view of demand to contextualize risk and inform business decisions
- Ensure all relevant demand planning data is collected, validated, and accessible
- Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning , supply chain, or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity — proactively seeks out new methods, technologies, and data sources to improve forecast quality and planning processes
- High learning agility and problem-solving aptitude — able to quickly grasp complex concepts, connect the dots across functions, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Advanced Excel skills or experience with low code application builder like Retool
- Hands-on experience with forecasting software and ERP systems
PREFERRED:
- Analytical background with experience developing with Tableau, Power BI or related
- Experience writing or working with SQL queries
- Coding experience, particularly with Python or R
