JOB OPPORTUNITY
JOB TITLE: Instructional/Intervention Aide TK
SITE AND LOCATION OF POSITION: Highland Elementary School
TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION: 5.75 Hours Per Day
JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the site administrator and the direction of a certificated staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Associate’s degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
CPR training.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
Ability to work well with children
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience:
Background to include activities that involve students and an interest in working with school-age children.
Experience working in an instructional environment.
Experience or education in the areas of child development.
SALARY: Range 5, Step 1 $16.50
