Walpole Public Schools is seeking dedicated Field Trip Nurses to provide essential medical support for our students on school trips.

Description

The Field Trip Nurse will be responsible for providing medical care to students during school-sponsored field trips. Key duties include:

• Monitoring students with chronic health conditions.

• Administering daily and emergency medications as needed.

• Responding to and managing medical emergencies and injuries.

• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of all medical care provided.

• Collaborating with teachers and school staff to ensure a safe environment for all students.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Massachusetts.

• CPR Certification (current and valid).

• Experience working with school-age children is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
