We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Product Operations Intern who will work closely with members of the Product Operations team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and has the ability to quickly understand complex concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong communication and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage products through sustaining activities. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results. What you'll do:
The Product Operations Intern will work closely with members of the Product Operations team, and will assist with the day to day tasks of product delivery and change control. As part of this team you will contribute to the organizational efforts of Geotab’s various products in development. This includes leveraging relationships with internal SME’s, coordinating with other Geotab teams, testing and research of new products, as well as maintaining accurate and detailed documentation.
The opportunity:
- 12 month work-term beginning January 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Assist in driving product initiatives through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process with focus on timely delivery depending on the phase of the product within the lifecycle (development vs sustaining).
- Collaborate with the Product and Program Managers to ensure the NPI process is properly followed in all stages of the product life cycle.
- Assist with navigating project deliverables, timelines and documenting milestone updates for sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Attend all project meetings and maintain detailed meeting minutes. Follow up on action items.
- Assist the Change Control Manager to implement change control processes to manage and control changes to hardware configurations, including evaluation, approval, and implementation of Engineering Change Orders/Requests/Notices.
- Coordinate and participate in configuration verification and validation activities to ensure that delivered products meet specified requirements and conform to established baselines.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Working towards a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Business Management or related degree.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Change control and configuration management are assets.
- Ability to maintain progress with little supervision.
- Strong time management skills.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Knowledge of G Suite for business (sheets, docs, slides) is preferred.
