Rolenn Manufacturing, Inc. is a growing organization seeking a skilled and proactive IT Professional for a temporary 6-month assignment. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy individual with a strong background in IT support, project management, and corporate systems administration. The successful candidate will support our dynamic technology environment and ensure seamless daily operations. This includes, but is not limited to: PCs, Work Stations, and Laptops, computer hardware, software issues, upgrades, and repairs. The qualified individual will also required to respond to queries, run diagnostics, isolate problems, determine, and implement solutions proactively to ensure Organization/Employee efficiency. Additionally, the qualified individual will have expertise in a corporate Microsoft Windows environment, with expertise in configuring, and Administration/Configuration of Cisco Communications manager VoIP environment. Other desirable skills are configuration, and management of Cisco routing and switching equipment.
- Proactively monitor; quickly and effectively respond to requests.
- Respond to employees help requests related to IT.
- Patch management/implementation to ensure minimal impact on employee productivity.
- Manage elaborate print/scan services.
- Document/revise internal IT procedures.
- Provide training for in-place, and new hardware/software systems.
- Maintain the performance computer/systems, and associated IT equipment.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and resolve issues.
- User management (rights, permissions, and access mgmt.)
- VPN access management.
- Ask educated questions and listen to employees to determine root-cause of issues.
- work through problem solving process with employees, empowering them to do the same in the future.
- Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues with the intent of writing FAQs, and/or updating the organizations KB repository.
- quickly learn and support industry specific/specialized software in order to ensure efficiency.
- Equipment and Software lifecycle management.
- Vendor/Supplier Management.
- Ability to provide equipment, software, and systems recommendations to Senior Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, and/or related field with focus on network engineering, and Voice over IP
- OS: Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2012 - 2019
- Expertise with VMWare Hypervisor
- Expertise with managing corporate Active Directory Environment
- Expertise with managing On-Prem Microsoft Exchange server
- Expertise with Cisco Call Manager 11.5, Unity, IM&P, and Collab Edge
- Thorough understanding of Cisco UBE, and ability to manage configuration changes of DIDs, and call-routing to PSTN
- Expertise with WebEx Administration
- Expertise working with Managed Print Services
- Managing ISP in a corporate setting (includes, but not limited to negotiating SLA's/Contracts/Support requests), managing MSP Firewall Appliance, SD-WAN Appliances and Configuration
- Expert in negotiating software support contracts
- Expert in software/environment backup and recovery management
- Expert in troubleshooting/repair LAN/WAN/WiFi networks, and topologies
- SSL Certificate management, and implementation (Includes, but not limited to: Cisco Call Manager/Expressway C & E, Jabber, Microsoft Exchange)
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician
- CompTIA A+
- MCP/MCITP
- CCNA (Routing/Switching, and VoIP)
