Salary range: $100,000.00-$150,000.00

Working Location: Candidates with 5+ years of experience are eligible for in-office, hybrid, or fully remote schedules. A relocation subsidy is available. At least 3 visits (per year) to the Chicago headquarters are required. Please note candidates must be able, willing and excited to travel.

Job Description:
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll do more than code - you’ll solve problems, spark ideas, and build software that makes a real impact in senior housing communities. Partnering with Product, Design, QA, and fellow engineers, you’ll bring creativity, curiosity, and pride to everything you build. Your work is visible, celebrated, and impactful, whether you’re enhancing our Medical Records and Resident Experience tools, driving insights through our DOMO platform, or pushing forward bold new product initiatives.
Ideation & Problem Solving - Be an active participant in the ideation process, collaborating with your team to brainstorm creative and practical solutions to complex problems. Your good judgment and pragmatic approach will be key in turning great ideas into actionable solutions.
Architectural Vision - Build and develop the technical design of new features and systems, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and aligned with our long-term architectural vision.
Build Awesome Solutions - Take a leading role in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial design to deployment. Set the precedent for our team's standards through your approach to writing, testing, and refining code.
Code Review - Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and ensuring our codebase is high-quality, secure, and performant.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
5+ years of ASP.NET programming experience with any of:
ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET MVC Core
ASP.NET Core Blazor
Entity Framework 6, Entity Framework Core, Dapper
5+ years of experience working with a SaaS product

Experience using Azure Portal and Azure Emulators, JetBrains Rider, LinqPad, Postman, Powershell, Sentry, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio Code
Experience using Atlassian Products ( Jira, Confluence) and Figma, Figjam

Application Process:
ALIS asks some candidates to a brief 10-minute phone call to share a bit more about their background and interest in the role. Be ready to talk about your “Why ALIS —what excites you about joining our team.” After the phone screen, candidates that are selected to proceed in the process will do a video interview with the hiring manager. Certain candidates may be asked for an additional in-person meeting with the CEO. Please note that ALIS will cover all expenses related to interview travel. Candidates residing in border states within a four-hour drive or less will be reimbursed for mileage.
