JOB TITLE:

Chemical Stockroom Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:

Assist manager with providing service to campus for lab supply purchases. Enter data for billing, tracking purposes and inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with lab supply order fulfillment.

Maintain necessary service to campus in absence of stockroom manager.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with maintaining clean warehouse and other chemical stockroom responsibilities.

COMPETENCIES:

Chemistry knowledge, understanding of basic lab processes, experience with excel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Chemistry knowledge
• Ability to frequently lift 30+ lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.

Lab experience
