Location: City of Glasgow, onsite
Contract/Hours: Permanent / Part Time – 28 hours per week – 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday, 9:15/30 to 16:45/17:00)

A bit about the role
We’re looking for a dedicated professional to play a key role in our business support function within Glasgow Gen R 8 Housing Service. As an Administrative Officer, you’ll be at the core of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our Support services.
In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support to both the Support Services and the management team. Your responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from paperwork and data management to coordinating meetings and handling inquiries. You’ll take ownership of your tasks with confidence, ensuring precision in every aspect of your work.
A crucial part of this role involves managing and recording the Petty Cash and Online Receipting of the Service PCard Holders, a task which requires attention to detail and accuracy. You’ll also work with both internal and external stakeholders. Professionalism and confidentiality are vital, especially when managing financial records. You’ll be responsible for various administrative functions, including collaboration, correspondence, research support, report production, and data management.

How you'll help to create brighter futures
Some key responsibilities for the role Administrative Officer are;
- Administrative support to the management team; this will include diary management, arranging meetings and general admin tasks.
- Financial Tasks; Managing, monitoring and recording Petty Cash, PCards, weekly reconciliation and raising POs.
- Collating and updating records on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Data gathering and ability to present a variety of information in various formats to different stakeholders within a senior level.
- Admin support including minute taking for both operational and HR meetings.
- Part of a team that is the first point of contact for general enquiries.
- Work as part of the business support team, supporting colleagues with their allocated tasks and responsibilities.
Let's talk about you
- Minimum of Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification or work experience
- Demonstrable interest and experience of using computers through a business network running MS Windows and Office applications, email and the Internet.
- Confident with figures and applying literacy skills, to communicate effectively with a range of individuals/teams.
- Confident and effective with both written and verbal communication, including to prepare and present reports.
- Deliver task(s) and within agreed quality and timescales.
