As a Salesforce Professional with primarily Administrator responsibilities alongside some Developer support functions at Cowbell Cyber, you will play a critical role in the administration and feature development of our Salesforce platform. This will involve configuring, maintaining, and enhancing our existing Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds and CPQ instances to support business initiatives. As part of the Business Enablement team, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, resolve user issues, and drive improvements that empower teams and enhance customer interactions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, automation-savvy problem solver who is passionate about process optimization and data integrity in a cybersecurity context.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line administrator for Cowbell’s Salesforce environment
- Manage user setup, permissions, roles, and data access
- Implement and maintain Reports and Dashboards with meaningful metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices
- Maintain and further implement Salesforce CPQ for products, including multi-dimensional price and configurable products.
- Create and maintain Flows, Einstein bots, Agentforce Agents, Page Layouts and Custom Applications, Record Types, and other declarative-based tools
- Ensure Salesforce integrations (e.g., , DocuSign, JIRA, Snowflake) are maintained and optimized
- Participate in user training development, documentation, and lead end-user support to drive adoption and proficiency
- Maintain data quality through validation rules, deduplication, audits, and automation
- Monitor platform performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement security best practices in line with Cowbell’s cybersecurity standards
- Assist with the evaluation, testing, and rollout of Salesforce updates and new features
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a SaaS, cyber (or property & casualty) insurance, or cybersecurity company
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder certifications preferred
- Proficiency in modern Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Lightning Knowledge, Approvals, Validation Rules, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud. (Financial Cloud and Data Cloud knowledge a plus)
- Progress towards agentic AI qualification, such as Agentforce Specialist or Agentblazer status is preferred
- Some familiarity with navigating and implementing custom pro-code solutions where appropriate, including an understanding of Lightning Web Components and Apex classes.
- Familiarity with Tableau and Data Cloud
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, sandboxes, Gearset, Github, and DevOps Center integration) and JIRA/Confluence or similar support ticketing and documentation platforms
- Ability to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable solutions
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including PII-related compliance is a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
