The Role

As Head Vet Nurse, you will take on a leadership role within the clinic, supporting and mentoring our nursing team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital. This is a hands-on role where you will balance leadership responsibilities with clinical nursing duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, training, and mentoring the nursing team

  • Coordinating daily workflow and hospital operations

  • Maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service

  • Assisting with rosters and stock control

  • Supporting veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care

About You

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong team player with the ability to lead by example

  • Passionate about providing gold-standard care for patients and clients
