Position Description:
The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking an Intern, Live Event Production at Fiserv Forum. The Intern will support the live events team in the Broadcast & Live Events department and report to the Director, Video Operations.
The Intern will work closely with the front of house and back of house teams to ensure games, events, concerts, and other activities at Fiserv Forum and Bucks facilities meet all necessary A/V requirements.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shadows and learns A/V processes and systems to carry out live event production in Fiserv Forum and Deer District facilities.
- Assists in A/V preparation and troubleshooting on Bucks game nights.
- Preps, sets, and strikes A/V equipment throughout Fiserv Forum and other Bucks facilities under the supervision of A/V Technicians and Engineers.
- Assists in tracking and updating A/V equipment inventory spreadsheets.
- Operates A/V equipment under the supervision of A/V Technicians and Engineers.
- Maintains effective communication and feedback with Fiserv Forum departments, peers, and technology teammates.
- Gives support to other departments involved in the set-up, strike, and operation of live events.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Projects a professional image, always respecting appearance based on Fiserv Forum standards.
- Developing and maintaining excellent relations with Fiserv Forum and Bucks staff and with co-workers - encouraging good communication and teamwork attitude.
- Familiarity with signal flow of audio, video, and lighting systems is a plus.
- Familiarity and desire to learn A/V systems, such as Daktronics, is preferred.
- Ability to work all Bucks game nights strongly preferred.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business.
