We are seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our call center team and support our primary care clinics. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to patients needing to schedule primary care appointments. 

  • Schedule appointments accurately based on provider availability and clinic location

  • Update patient demographics in eClinicalWorks (ECW)

  • Ensure appropriate scheduling for routine visits, physicals, follow-ups, and annual wellness visits. 

  • Provide information about locations, providers, clinic hours, services, and visit preparation.

  • Communicate with different clinic teams to coordinate urgent scheduling needs 

  • Meet performance metrics such as calls per day, appointment conversion rate, scheduling accuracy, and patient satisfaction

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in primary care, medical scheduling, or a healthcare call center preferred. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative training a plus

  • Hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW) strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform well in a high-volume setting

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
