Job Title: Master Scheduler
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Position Status: Manager
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Master Scheduler is responsible for planning materials and resources for the optimal production process
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of the production schedules to guide activities and resources to achieve maximum efficiency and timeline objectives
Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, and resource availability
Monitors the production process and develops revised scheduling changes due to designs, equipment, and resources.
Develops Key Performance indicators such as schedule adherence, job created, jobs closed, and processing errors
Oversees Planning of Raw Materials and Expediting to meet production requirements
Manages master data creation of parts, BOM’s, and routings
Monitors demand and inventory management to minimize excess inventory and obsolescence of materials
Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with production planning and scheduling activities
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has a level of supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Business English, clear verbal communication, excellent redaction, and Bilingual English – Spanish are desirable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering; or equivalent to 5 years of experience in Production Planning/Scheduling with 2-3 years supervisory experience
Familiarity with ERP systems preferably Epicor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CSCP or CPIM Certification is preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Excellent interpersonal / communications skills, polished presentation skills, and capability to engage and collaborate with business units and corporate leadership. Creates and sustains effective cross-business and cross-functional relationships.
