Job Summary:
The Hospital Laundry Services Coordinator manages the daily operations of a hospital laundry department, ensuring clean and organized linen distribution to various departments. This includes tasks like preparing linen carts, delivering clean linens, picking up soiled linen, and ensuring the laundry room's cleanliness. The role also involves managing inventory, taking orders from staff, and potentially assisting with equipment maintenance, all while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Sr. Coordinator- Laundry Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree in hospitality management, business management, healthcare or other related degree preferred.
- This is a safety sensitive position.*
- Minimum Requirements:
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ work experience of fulltime employment/experience with laundry/technical machinery a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures
- Preferred Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hospital setting
- Experience in a leadership role a plus.
