What you will contribute…
A positive, can-do approach to work
2+ years prior art teaching experience (K-12, Adult, studio arts and digital art)
A Bachelors degree in Art, Graphic Arts, Digital Art or similar (MFA highly desirable)
A passion for art
An organized and detail oriented work style

A flexible and willing attitude
An enthusiastic, motivating personality
Our teams are flexible on working hours within the basic framework of a 25-40 hour work week. These hours would include a minimum of 2 evenings a week and a Saturday from September to June. In the Summer the hours switch to Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm. Pay rates vary depending on experience within the range of $25-$30 per hour.

Position Highlights:
Develop Students: Teach 20+ hours of weekly classes in studio art and digital art ensuring students reach their full potential as artists
Member and Community Partner outreach: Foster relationships with members and outside groups ensuring that the art community is thriving and growing inside and outside the school. Including running gallery exhibitions
Managing an inventory of high quality art materials: Assisting with the ordering and restocking of a wide variety of art materials
Curating and hanging art work in our Gallery space: This includes three professional art shows a year plus two student shows in January and June
