OBJECTIVE:

Provide excellent service to both Players and staff.  Provides continuous guidance to dealers to maintain and improve both technical and interpersonal skills, with the goal of creating a premium environment.  Mentors dealers in service skills, policies and procedures, and game protection measures.  Protect Tribal Assets through effective use of game protection and upward communication measures, as well as adherence to all Departmental and Casino policies and procedures.  Assist in the review and evaluation of both Players and dealers.  Maintain the operational efficiency of their area. 

 

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works primarily on the Casino floor environment, which is smoke-free, with office time based on need.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.  Must be proficient with technical, interpersonal, and general business skills.  Must be able to work Holidays and Special Events as scheduled.  Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate business volume and seasonal needs.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:       

 

  1. Always be Barona NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave, and greeting

2.      Provides excellent service to Players and staff.

3.      Supervise, motivate, train, and evaluate dealers to provide a premium environment for premium Players.

4.      Create a friendly environment for both staff and Players.  Initiate positive interactions.  Smile, wave, and greet those we come in contact with.

5.      Must demonstrate the ability to be a team player by working well with co-workers and employees from other departments.

6.      Protects Tribal assets through knowledge and effective use of game protection measures and upward communication, as well as adherence to Departmental and Casino policies and procedures

7.      Reports to work, and returns from break, on time.

8.      Maintains accurate ratings for all appropriate players; effectively maintain table bankrolls and track its contents.

9.      Maintains knowledge and training of all regulatory requirements (Title 31, SARC).

10.   Maintains current knowledge of all Casino promotions and services, to provide guests with any needed information.

11.   Ensures all safety standards are met.

12.   Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Knowledge of Table Games operations.

Public relations, basic math, organization skills, oral and written communications, and leadership skills.

Ability to interact with all organizational levels, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and analyze problems and implement sound and objective solutions, ability to work in a fast paced environment.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:       

 

High School Diploma, GED, or three consecutive years of Barona employment.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one year of table games experience.  

 

ALTERNATIVE TO MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
