We are seeking a Crisis Center Nurse Manager. This role is responsible for supervision and coordination of staff and operations providing services for clients presenting to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center. This includes providing direct services in the Behavioral Health Crisis Center, coordinating with community partners and completing crisis care duties as assigned. 

 

 

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with flex time to include evening and weekend hours required to meet the needs of the clinic. This position is located in-person at 260 Jefferson Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Registered Nurse degree.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
  • At least two years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Knowledge of biological factors in mental illness.
  • Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric medications.
  • Knowledge of clinic procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and CLIA waived testing.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding privacy and HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology in a mental health setting.
  • Knowledge and ability to work within the American Nurses’ Association Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing practice.
  • BLS CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of substance use overdose identification and response, including Narcan administration training.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent judgments and decisions based on professional knowledge.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data entry, and email.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a nursing supervisor or lead RN.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
  • Spanish/English bilingual.
