We are seeking a dynamic, visionary Senior Manager to own and grow our Object product portfolio—a role at the intersection of technology innovation, market expansion, and organizational leadership. As a key member of the Product leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of file and object storage solutions for the world’s most demanding enterprise environments.
- Steer a high-performing team in crafting and executing a visionary, differentiated, and market-leading product strategy for Object—anchored in deep customer insight, rigorous competitive intelligence, and a sharp grasp of transformative technology trends shaping the data protection and unstructured data landscape.
- Architect and drive the full product lifecycle, from defining bold roadmap priorities to delivering innovative, enterprise-class storage capabilities. Guide critical investment choices, orchestrate trade-offs, and set the bar for excellence in delivering sustained customer and business value at scale.
- Forge strong, influential alliances with key account field teams, channel partners, and marquee customers. Accelerate our go-to-market success by shaping commercial strategy, enabling the sales organization, and cultivating a thriving technology partner ecosystem to unlock new avenues for growth and adoption.
- Operate as a senior advisor to the executive leadership team—translating complex market shifts, competitive movements, and product opportunities into actionable priorities and persuasive recommendations that inform high-impact business decisions.
- Represent the company as a trusted ambassador and principal evangelist for FlashBlade Object, delivering compelling business narratives and technical thought leadership across executive briefings, industry conferences, and global partner forums.
- Inspire, develop, and elevate a diverse team of product managers, engineers, and cross-functional leaders. Champion organizational alignment, clarity of mission, and flawless execution—ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and empowered to achieve strategic outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Demonstrated, senior-level experience driving the strategy, launch, and growth of sophisticated product portfolios in the enterprise technology space, with proven ability to build businesses and deliver outsized results in dynamic, competitive markets.
- Awareness of storage products, Object storage and allied solutions in data protection, analytics and applications is a plus.
- Broad and deep technical fluency spanning datacenter architectures, security frameworks, and the operational realities of complex enterprise deployments.
- Visionary yet disciplined leadership: a track record of setting ambitious direction, developing compelling execution plans, and balancing immediate revenue generation with long-term value creation and product differentiation.
- Polished executive presence, with exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to inspire, align, and influence senior leaders, customers, and cross-functional teams in both technical and commercial contexts.
- Strategic business judgement, commercial acumen, and a strong grasp of end-to-end product lifecycle management, from market opportunity assessment to global launch, scale, and sunset.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred and will set you apart.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
