Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team. The BI team focuses on data analysis, reporting, and predictive modeling. The BI Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data from Salesforce and other business systems. This role will conduct pipeline analysis, sales and renewals forecasting, market sizing, customer utilization and ROI analysis, and modeling of different business strategies and outcomes. This role works cross-functionally with different Imprivata business groups to understand, develop and track KPIs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand reporting/analytics needs.
- Provide reporting on business performance (historic growth, win rates, conversion rates, retention rates etc.), customer spend, customer product usage, team activity, and team utilization.
- Design and build dashboards (in Salesforce and Tableau) that empower Imprivata business teams to track KPIs and access essential business analytics.
- Support Sales, Renewals and other financial forecasting.
- Leverage data to answer important business questions and inform real business decisions.
- Help with data QA and data clean-up as needed.
- Help develop and maintain relevant data dictionaries and knowledge articles.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with analyzing, summarizing and presenting complex data in a clear and compelling manner
- Passion for problem-solving and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRM-Analytics, PowerBI etc.) and techniques
- Prior experience with Salesforce is not required, but desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills. Candidate needs to be able to work with internal stakeholders to discuss business needs and present analysis/findings.
- Ability to learn new tools and processes and be flexible with rapidly changing priorities in a positive manner.
- Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
