The role:
Crown Sydney has a permanent, full-time opportunity for dedicated hotelier to join the team as a Front Office Supervisor. As a leader in Sydney’s most luxurious integrated resort, you’ll be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the department, ensuring guest satisfaction and expectations are achieved, whilst inspiring and embedding a customer-oriented mindset amongst the team.
This is a perfect opportunity for a Senior Front Office Attendant who is ready to take the next step in their career. Your success will be highlighted by seamless performance of the check-in & check-out procedures, as well as providing Concierge-related services to all guests and visitors at Crown to enhance their stay. You’ll also be a key part of your team member’s development, where you’ll coach and develop their skills and empower them to thrive.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
- Ensuring smooth and timely check-in / check-out operations of the Front Office, including Concierge services
- Providing guidance and support to the team, ensuring that the Crown values are always demonstrated
- Leading the on-shift team and being the first escalation point for any complaints, issues or challenges
- Coaching and on-boarding new team members around operating procedures, policies and standards
- Monitoring room availability and controlling daily hotel inventory to ensure guests receive accommodation requirements
- Participating in team briefings and ensuring new information or expectations are relayed to the on-shit team
- Monitoring service standards of department operations or teams, and addressing any inconsistencies
- Maintaining up-selling guidelines and continually looking to develop procedures in order to increase efficiency and revenue
- Partnering with Hotel Reservations and Sales to ensure promotional accommodation activity is supported
You’ll have:
- Demonstrated hotel operations experience in a high-volume, front office operation
- Capability, passion and desire to step up into a leadership role in a luxury property
- Proven capability in delivering superior service standards and guest experiences in a premium environment
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays
- Ability multi-take and manage multiple guest priorities and inquiries
- A strong customer orientation with ability to anticipate the needs of guests & promptly manage guest enquiries
- Opera Property Management Systems experience will be highly regarded
- Permanent and unrestricted Australian working rights
