MSS Security is currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer with a current NV1 Security Clearance to join our team at Thales, in Point Wilson (Geelong). This is a gatehouse-based position, responsible for access control, visitor management, and ensuring the security of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling access of the site
- Conducting thorough ID checks and verifying clearances
- Logging all vehicle and personnel movements
- Conducting regular site patrols to check for security risks, ensure doors and access points are secure & responding to alarms or incidents
- Monitoring CCTV footage
- Issuing and collecting visitor passes and access cards
Requirements:
- Australian Citizen with a current NV1 Clearance
- Certificate II in security operations (or higher)
- Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement is advantageous)
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s License
- Availability to work a 24*7 rotational roster
