About the role  

  
We have several exciting opportunities for Aboriginal Project Support Officer’s to join our team.  
These roles play a key part in supporting Aboriginal programs and contributing to the coordination and delivery of fines related initiatives for Aboriginal Communities These initiatives aim to assist our customers in accessing government services more effectively and avoiding unnecessary escalation through formal systems.  

You’ll work closely with internal teams and community stakeholders to ensure programs are tailored, respectful, and impactful.  

As an Aboriginal Project Support Officer, you can expect to work as a team and monitor, deliver and support projects.  

Details are as follows:  

  • Salary: Clerk Grade 3/4 The package includes base salary $84,659 - $92,701, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading  
  • Duration: Ongoing, full time 
  • Location: Multiple locations including, Parramatta, Maitland, Gosford, Lithgow and Wollongong 
    Flexible working conditions 

A typical day of work for you might include: 

  • Monitor and report on project delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards. 
  • Support daily operations through project and program coordination, contributing to process improvements. 
  • Provide administrative support including records management, briefings, correspondence, and event coordination. 
  • Respond to stakeholder enquiries, ensuring accurate information and appropriate issue escalation. 
  • Maintain project records and databases to ensure compliance with established methodologies. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information that supports decision-making and successful project outcomes. 

To be successful in this role you will have a unique blend of experience including:  

  • Project support experience  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Experience working in an agile environment  
  • Ability to handle confidential information  
  • Well-developed clerical computer skills  
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
