Job Summary:
The Mover / Stager plays a vital role in preparing estate sale homes during the week for upcoming weekend sales. This position is hands-on and involves moving, arranging, and staging furniture and household items to create organized and visually appealing displays. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, has an eye for design, and takes pride in transforming spaces.

This part-time position focuses on setup, staging, and breakdown of estate sale homes. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of safely handling and moving furniture of all sizes while contributing to the overall presentation of each home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Move and stage furniture and household items within estate sale homes.
§ Arrange and set up furniture and décor to create visually appealing staging layouts.
§ Safely lift, carry, and transport items, including antiques and delicate pieces.
§ Drive company vehicles to transport items to donation centers or storage, when required.
§ Support the estate sale team with general setup and breakdown tasks throughout the week.
Requirements:
§ Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean record (no DUI, reckless driving, or felony driving within the last 7 years).
§ Must have reliable transportation.
§ At least 2 years of experience in moving, staging, or furniture handling.
§ Knowledge of proper techniques for packing, handling, and moving furniture, antiques, and artwork.
§ Must possess a high level of integrity.
§ Strong ability to safely lift, move, and transport small to large items.
§ Must be dependable and able to work Monday through Friday.
§ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
§ Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
§ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
§ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
§ Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
§ Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
§ Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Physical Requirements:
§ The nature of the position requires frequent travel to and from various locations within the County. Occasionally, travel may be required to neighboring counties.
§ The nature of the position may involve exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, loud noise, or chemicals.
§ May on occasion require prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
§ Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
§ Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
