Supervise, train, and provide technical assistance to engineering specialists responsible for the day to day operation and maintenance necessary to insure the safe, reliable, efficient operation of the assigned pipeline facilities and field area. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a working knowledge of maintenance and operation of pipelines at a level normally acquired through the completion of an associate's degree with strong technical emphasis in a related field; and
Seven years of experience and increasing responsibility, including in the design, installation, and/or operation and maintenance of related facilities.
At least one of the seven years’ experience being in leadership or project management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory experience.
Engineering Specialist, Area Representative, Engineer, or technical pipeline experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Must have successfully completed the Operator Qualifications for tasks required for pipeline operation and maintenance.
Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Subject to the Company’s substance abuse testing program.
Requires Travel: Moderate (25%and over). Overnight stays may be required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and provides technical support to assigned engineering specialists to assure safe reliable pipeline facility operations.
Coordinates all assigned manpower resources, contractors, and work projects to assure that all locations and work tasks are properly staffed and that resources are used efficiently and effective.
Work with engineering support, engineering specialists, and district personnel to develop training programs and OQ tasks.
Required to audit related facilities to ensure compliance with regulations, Company policies and procedures, and industry standards
Serves as a liaison between the engineering departments, district personnel, and related departments for construction projects and operations and maintenance activities.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
