Description
American Bank of Commerce is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bank Operations Specialist I. As a Bank Operations Specialist I, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements. You will also be responsible for complying with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.

- Wire transfer processing
- Dormant account reporting
- Interact with third party vendors involved in these processes
We are currently seeking qualified applicants to work as a Bank Operations Specialist I at our Wolfforth Texas Banking Center (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide customer research on escalated issues.
- Provide research information for other departments of the Bank on escalated issues.
- Recognize cross sell opportunities and offer ABC Products and Services to our customers.
- Confer with customers by telephone or other channel in order to provide information about their accounts, the Bank's products and services, or to obtain details of complaints on escalated issues.
- Setup, maintenance and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay and E-Statements.
- Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
- Prepare change of address records.
- Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
- Operate computers programmed with specialized software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones and handling routine correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management / supervisor.
- Comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program and Written Security Program.
- Wire Transfer Processing
- Complete the Closed Account Report
- Work DDA and GL Unposted Reports.
- Work Chargebacks
- Send and receive customer bank drafts for collection purposes. Maintain records for these collection items.
- NSF Processing
- Dormant Account Reporting
- Properly handle Death Notifications.
- Develop, update and publish operating and workflow procedures.
- Interact with third party vendors involved in these processes.
