Role Overview
As a Systems & Network Administrator, you’ll be a key player in supporting and optimizing our IT environment. This hands-on, hybrid role covers server, network, and site-level systems across our expanding network of car wash locations. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, maintain secure connectivity, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, networking hardware (switches, firewalls, wireless access points), and workstations across multiple sites.
- Support and maintain WAN/LAN connectivity, VPNs, and core network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, Security & Compliance) for secure, efficient access and performance.
- Oversee system monitoring, patch management, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor performance of POS/payment systems and ensure PCI DSS compliance.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, system configurations, and documentation.
- Provide input for IT projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and IT leadership on system improvements and compliance.
- Support disaster recovery planning and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in systems and/or network administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, M365).
- Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer service mindset.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCSA.
- Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with PCI DSS or compliance-driven environments.
- Exposure to retail or multi-site business systems (POS, kiosks).
- Competence with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
