Overview:

Parkwest Casino is looking to hire Pai Gow Tiles Dealers!

 

Qualified candidate is responsible for dealing games in the Pai Gow Tiles Section of the casino by performing the following duties. If you're the best at what you do and enjoy providing superior service in an exciting atmosphere we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

1. Maintains a house bank to adequately make change and efficiently run the game.
2. Scrambles, shuffles, and deals Tiles in the manner prescribed in the Pai Gow Tiles dealer's Manual.
3. Collect Casino's revenues.
4. Supervises the betting action and enforces Casino rules.
5. Assists players in the reading of hands and payoffs of the winning hands.
6. Controls player disputes by reporting abuse and notifying appropriate floor staff of such behavior.
7. Provides game instruction to new players.
8. Be ready to go into rotation as scheduled.
9. Follows instructions as given by the immediate supervisor.
10. You'll be put through a highly interactive training course, touching upon past experience and present cardroom table games and procedures.
11. Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.
12. Other job-related duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass mandatory screening which may include a background and credit check, and drug test.
• Must be 21 plus years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge or license.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Able to converse in English.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work within a team environment.
