Responsibilities:
- Design and implement experiments related to EEG.
- Develop, experiment, test, and refine novel algorithms toward improving the clinical understanding of neurological diseases.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into our software products and platforms
- Collaborate with Machine Learning Scientist/Engineers to devise and experiment novel deep learning model implementations utilizing medical data.
- Multi-channel EEG data processing and analysis.
- Experiment and test result documentation for publication and regulatory affairs.
Qualifications:
- PhD and 2+ years of post-degree experience in preferably Electrical Engineering. Neuroscience, Bioengineering, Cognitive Neuroscience or other similar fields will be considered.
- Minimum 5+ years in medical data signal processing and neuroscience data analysis.
- Understanding of basic machine learning algorithms and their applications in medical applications.
- Significant exposure to studies of neurological disorders in humans (pediatric, adult, and/or geriatric).
- Proficient programming and data management skills (Python preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and physicians.
- Strong understanding of neural oscillations, event detection and biomarker identification
- Strong experience in neural data analysis (EEG, ECoG, sEEG) including time- and frequency-domain signal processing (filtering, spectral analysis, STFT, denoising. etc)
- Proven experience in developing and validating machine learning/deep learning models using neural data in Python
- Familiarity with signal source localization techniques (preferred)
