Job Title: Manager - Contracts Service Centre
Location: Bangalore - Manyata Tech Park

Business & Team: The Group Procurement team supports Group Corporate Services to deliver leading practice procurement.

Group Procurement manages all activities across the procurement lifecycle, namely:

  • Requirements gathering & strategy – identify opportunities to add value to the business
  • Execution & negotiation – establish the best commercial deals for CBA
  • Implement & transition


Impact & contribution: As Manager Contracts Service Centre you will be part of the Group Procurement Team. This role is responsible for managing execution of contracts and ensuring contract information is accurately recording in our systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supporting Category Team-

  • Supporting category teams in executing contracts and maintaining accurate records of all high risk contracts.


Contract Signing-

  • Manage the contract signing process end to end including CIO signing, Procurement sign offs, e-singing of contracts in collaboration with category teams and key stakeholders


Contract Workspace management-

  • Set up contract workspaces for new contracts with the right hierarchy and stakeholder details.
  • Manage existing contract workspaces to ensure they are update with latest copy of contract, current stakeholders, contract manager etc.,

 
Risk Management-

  • Demonstrate a full and comprehensive understanding of risk and risk processes applicable to your role.
  • Provide and deploy appropriate process and governance to address all aspects of risk applicable to your day to day work.
  • Ensure that you, and any team members under your leadership, comply with Group policies and procedures and any relevant external legislative requirements


People Management / Leadership-

  • The role will have a team of up to 4 people reporting into it handling activities across sourcing and contract hub.
  • Manage effective distribution of workload in the team, address or raise challenges as appropriate, provide oversight and guidance to the reporting team members.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating CBA values of Care, Commitment and Courage
  • Providing regular feedback, supporting development plans, setting goals, performance management and coaching of team members.
  • Advocate compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology


Essential Skills:

  • 8 to 12 years of strong contract execution & contract management experience with atleast 3-5 years of experience in managing and leading a team.
  • In depth understanding of contract structures and hierarchies.
  • Strong understanding of ARIBA contract management module and how contract workspaces are created and maintained.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, as one team.
  • Excellent ability to manage and influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with customers and suppliers.
  • Preferable to have experience in supplier negotiation and contract drafting.


Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in Arts, Business Management, Computer Applications, Business Administration, Commerce.
