We are a rapidly growing, US-based space startup that is revolutionizing satellite imaging using advanced in-orbit capabilities. Our expertise lies in leveraging in-space assets for Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Non-Earth Imaging (NEI). Our technology helps governments and commercial companies to visually monitor their spacecraft and other space objects they care about. Our vision is to image anything in the solar system on-demand. HEO is a post Series-A company backed by high profile venture funds including Airtree, Y Combinator and In-Q-Tel. We are headquartered in Sydney, Australia with offices in Washington DC, USA and London, UK.
We are building out a high performing interdisciplinary team capable of pushing the boundaries of space technology. Having recently secured several significant contracts, we are expanding our team to meet the exciting demands of our growth.
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Space Imagery Analyst to join our team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in translating our unique space-to-space imagery and data into high-quality, actionable information for our customers in government, defense, and the commercial sector. You will be passionate and self-motivated, using our proprietary analytics and open-source data to discover new insights about a wide array of objects in orbit.
This is a unique opportunity to directly shape our analytic products and contribute to our rapid expansion in the commercial space sector. You'll be part of a high-performing, interdisciplinary team that is pushing the boundaries of space technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytic Production and Development: Develop, enhance and produce reports for key customers using HEO's unique space-to-space imagery and data.
- Mission Tasking & Execution: Schedule and support HEO’s collection operations to ensure customer requirements are met by tasking our in-space sensors and leveraging our SDA data repository.
- Data Analysis & Research: Combine high-level image and data analysis with research from publicly available sources to determine key insights about spacecraft and debris, and to identify unknown objects.
- Customer Requirements & Delivery: Work closely with customers and HEO Project Managers to understand requirements, track metrics and ensure delivery of world class SDA products.
