The full time Nursing Department Clinical Coordinator for the Undergraduate Traditional Day Nursing Program is responsible for overseeing and managing clinical placement onboarding for nursing students and ensuring alignment with agency requirements and standards. This role collaborates with faculty, healthcare facilities, and students to facilitate the onboarding process for entry in to clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist the Division Director with clinical sites and clinical adjunct faculty.
- Manage clinical schedules, create clinical groups, and maintain accurate records.
- Clinical Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and agency requirements
- Onboarding Support: Coordinate required orientation, scheduling, and address faculty and student concerns related to the onboarding process, in a timely manner
- Compliance and Evaluation: Ensure adherence to agency onboarding requirements and review and inform students and faculty regarding any updates or changes to the process
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong partnerships with clinical sites and act as a liaison between the program and healthcare facilities
Qualifications
- Degree preferred
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to a dynamic environment
Work Environment
- Full-time position requiring flexibility to handle urgent tasks and occasional travel to clinical sites as needed.
- Hybrid work options may be available, with regular on-campus presence required to address time-sensitive demands
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $22/hr.
