Job Summary


The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for managing the full sales cycle of custom headwear and apparel, with a strong focus on the decorated apparel and wholesale markets. This role involves qualifying and converting leads, consulting with clients on product and decoration options, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring smooth order execution through production and delivery.

You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, building lasting relationships that drive repeat business and higher order volumes. Success in this position requires both proven sales acumen and hands-on experience in headwear and apparel sales—including pricing models, turnaround times, decoration methods, and competitor positioning.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that blends consultative sales, account management, and operational coordination to deliver outstanding customer experiences.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads and qualify opportunities for custom hats and apparel.
  • Consult with clients on product types, decoration methods (embroidery, patches, screen print, heat transfer, etc.), and apparel trends.
  • Build and deliver accurate quotes, send payment links, and process orders through our CRM.
  • Manage client communication via calls, emails, and follow-ups, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Track order progress, collaborating with design and production teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Handle reorders, proactively reaching out to past clients to maintain repeat sales momentum.
  • Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals, including new business and repeat order targets.
  • Stay informed on market pricing, turnaround times, and competitor offerings within decorated apparel and wholesale.
  • Maintain clean, organized client records in the CRM to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Partner with the design team to capture and deliver on our client’s vision, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in headwear and/or apparel sales, preferably in decorated apparel, wholesale, or promotional products.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Odoo or similar) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, deals, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, value differentiation, and closing deals in a competitive market.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while managing digital communications.

Salary Description
$50,000 base + commission
