Job Title: Spray Foam Installation Technician

Location: Matrix Basement Finishing, Arlington Heights, IL

Department: Operations

Pay: $35 per hour*

Position Overview:

Matrix is seeking a skilled and motivated Spray Foam Technician to join our team. This role will primarily focus on maintaining and repairing spray foam rigs, including their engines, as well as assisting in the organization and management of warehouse inventory. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors, and other equipment used in spray foam rigs.

Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure spray foam rigs are fully operational.

Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical failures or safety concerns and address them proactively.

Assist with the organization, management, and tracking of warehouse inventory, including tools, equipment, and materials.

Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and readily available for jobs.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in the warehouse and equipment areas.

Assist in shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License - REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in engine maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in engine maintenance, preferably with small engines, compressors, or industrial equipment.

Familiarity with spray foam equipment or willingness to learn.

Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed.
