Overview of the Position:

The Sales Support Specialist role supports the Sales team and customer requests demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of customer service, including customer knowledge and service, functional excellence with systems and tools, training, and teamwork. Success in this role will be determined by customer service feedback, productivity with tasks and meeting company core values. Ultimately, this role is to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring frictionless sales team operations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Order data entry duties for the Account Mangers and ensure contract review is completed.
  • Provide quote entry
  • Enter and update customer orders
  • Assist with customer communication and resolution of customer issues
  • Participate in coverage for team members who are out of the office
  • Assist team with special projects
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

 

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of sales and customer service best practices
  • Results-driven and goal oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple tasks and be productive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written including good telephone etiquette skills.
  • Must have computer skills including Windows, MS Word and MS Excel.
