Job Title: Sales Operations Manager- National Accounts

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sales Operations Manager to lead our Sales Operations team for the National Accounts sales channel. This role is responsible for managing a small team, overseeing sales order processes, and driving operational efficiency across the sales organization. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who thrives in a cross-functional environment, ensuring seamless execution between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics, and other teams. This individual will also serve as a primary interface with established customers to ensure smooth operations and positive relationships.

- Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small Sales Operations team.
- Establish clear goals, provide coaching, and drive accountability.
- Sales Order Management
- Oversee the processing of sales orders for established products and long-term customers and the intake/transition of new product and new customers
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues in collaboration with other teams.
- Process & Systems Optimization
- Partner with Engineering, IT, and Operations teams to improve and implement systems, workflows, and tools that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Maintain and refine CRM, ERP, and related sales tools to support accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Identify bottlenecks in the order-to-cash cycle and recommend solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics to align sales processes with business goals.
- Support product availability, pricing accuracy, and customer contract compliance.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to anticipate and address operational challenges.
- Customer Engagement
- Act as a primary point of contact with external customers regarding sales orders, processes, and operational matters.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor KPIs related to sales operations performance (e.g., order cycle times, data accuracy, customer satisfaction).
- Provide insights and reporting to Sales leadership to guide decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience (HVAC, Refrigeration, or OEM equipment industries strongly preferred) with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across national accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, IFS)
- PMP or similar project management certification a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as business needs require.

About the Division: The National Accounts Division specializes in providing refrigeration solutions for leading national grocery retailers. This division serves as a strategic partner to major brands seeking efficient, scalable, and reliable refrigeration solutions across hundreds or thousands of store locations nationwide.
Working Environment: Work is primarily conducted in an office environment, with occasional visits to manufacturing sites and customer locations. Some travel may be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, or participate in business development activities. The noise level is typically moderate in office settings and can be higher in production areas.
