Warehouse Leader at Allient Inc.

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Warehouse Leader to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin! The Warehouse Leader will direct, assist, and work with assigned warehouse workers to identify, store, and distribute a variety of raw materials, manufactured, and purchased parts used in the manufacturing process of electrical transformers! Responsibilities:

• Receive, identify, store, and distribute various raw materials, purchased parts, and manufactured components

• Operate powered forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to load/unload shipments

• Transport materials using containers, pallets, and bins within the facility

• Prepare, make up, and deliver orders to designated locations in correct sequence

• Input and verify data from packing lists, delivery requests, and inventory systems

• Identify defective materials and deliver to Quality Control as needed

• Install inventory labels, weigh and count stock items, and assist with physical inventory

• Use standard tools (e.g., crowbars, scales, micrometers, calculators) to complete tasks

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Follow all safety regulations and company policies

• Assist in training new hires and cross-training team members as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of relevant warehouse/material handling experience

• Forklift operating experience (certification preferred)

• Valid driver’s license (for operating company van on local deliveries)

• Basic math skills (decimals, fractions); ability to read work orders, maps, and delivery instructions

• Familiarity with stock locator systems and inventory records

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and reliability in following procedures

Working Environment:

• Moderate physical effort required; frequent handling of materials and standing/walking

• Exposure to a standard warehouse/shop environment (not hazardous or overly noisy)

• Continuous mental and visual focus needed for accuracy and safety

• Potential injury risk if safety procedures aren’t followed (e.g., use of forklift or material handling tools)

• First shift only: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
